We are proud to be a member of Client Money Protect who are a tenancy deposit scheme. CMP are an impartial body which offers a service to hold a renter’s deposit safely and securely. They add an extra layer of protection to the renter in the rare case of any landlord/tenant disputes. These schemes also make sure the landlord has no access to the deposit for their own spending. The government required the use of these schemes since April 2007 in England and Wales and all Estate Agents are required to be signed up to a scheme. Our team will provide proof of the funds being sent and received for peace of mind.

Emsleys Estate Agents are also members of The Property Ombudsman, by being a member of this scheme we are able to help both landlords and renters with resolving disputes. As well as managing disputes, The Property Ombudsman publish codes of practice and best practices for the most forward Estate Agents in the UK.
